Industriepark Kalle-Albert in Biebrich
In the district of Biebrich lies the Industriepark Kalle-Albert, since 2025 also called Industriepark Wiesbaden, across around 96 hectares with about 75 companies and just under 6,000 employees. The operator is InfraServ Wiesbaden, and the sectors range from chemicals and pharmaceuticals through materials to food. Based here are Merck (electronic fine chemicals), SE Tylose, Allnex, Mitsubishi Polyester Film (Hostaphan), Kalle and Agfa/ECO3, among others. For workers, a chemicals and materials park means lasting demand for plant, maintenance and assembly work.
Building materials and suppliers: Dyckerhoff and Federal-Mogul
Wiesbaden is the corporate headquarters of Dyckerhoff AG, one of Germany's best-known cement and building materials manufacturers, whose products are widely used in construction. In the district of Schierstein, Federal-Mogul produces plain bearings for engines. So alongside chemicals, the building materials and supplier industry is also based in the city, both typical fields of work for skilled and assembly teams.
Digital infrastructure and data centres
Wiesbaden is also a location for digital infrastructure: via its subsidiary WiTCOM, the municipal utility ESWE operates two geo-redundant data centres in the city, one of them TÜV Rheinland certified, supplied with electricity from renewable energy. Data centres as well as network and building technology mean ongoing demand for technical and assembly work.
A66, A643 and the motorway interchanges
The A66 is the west-east axis towards Frankfurt-Höchst, and the A643 leads to Mainz across the Schiersteiner Brücke. At the Wiesbadener Kreuz, the A3 and A66 meet, and at the Schiersteiner Kreuz the A66 and A643. Via these junctions, the van is quickly on the motorway towards Frankfurt, Mainz or the Rheingau.
S-Bahn S1, S8 and S9 from the main station
Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof is a terminus station and the western endpoint of several S-Bahn lines. The S1 runs via Frankfurt-Höchst and Frankfurt to Offenbach and Rödermark, the S8 and S9 via Mainz and Mainz-Kastel respectively, with a direct connection to Frankfurt Airport. The base frequency is 30 minutes per line and increases at peak times.
Parking on site
Wiesbaden takes part in the tradesperson parking permit of the Frankfurt RheinMain region. Trades and commercial businesses thereby receive an exemption permit under Paragraf 46 StVO, which lets company vehicles park on a local job in restricted no-stopping areas, residents' parking zones and paid parking areas; the first issue costs 305 euros and is valid for one year. In residential areas, residents' parking additionally applies, which the city is expanding step by step (residents' parking permit 120 euros a year).
